Emotions in Music

Have you ever noticed the beat of certain music is? A lot of songs you hear represent a certain emotion. When you hear a low pitched song with some sort of piano playing in the background very softly, that means that the song is sad. When you hear an upbeat song with a lot of cheer to it, then that means the song is happy or about having fun. Of course, it is different in some cases ,yet there is another way to identifying the emotion within the song. that is the lyrics. When you listen to the lyrics very carefully, you can just make out what the song is about. For example, in the song Slow Down by Selena Gomez, the song is about a certain love connection at a party of some sort. Next time when you hear your favorite song, listen to the lyrics and identify the feeling it gives.
